Chamborigaud has developed from a secluded habitation of the 18th century into a small village with a population of 750 people. The village is location in the departement Gard and belongs to the clerical region of Uzès.
Surrounded by the Cevennes mountain ranges and the river Ardeche, the village is located in 350 m altitude along the creek "Le Luech". A viaduct across the valley was completed in 1867. As a special sight, the "grand curve" with 41 arches is absolutely worth a visit. |
